Tim BarrettThe other blog June 23 Seriously out of shapeIt's really time for me to get into shape again. It's amazing how fast time flies, especially when there are tons of pizza coupons on the fridge. My goal for this week is to hit the treadmill once and the road once this week. Let's see if I can stick to it. March 10 Look over there..In case you didn't know, I finished all 3 prelim races last year and finished the mini-marathon. In fact, I just hung my medal on the wall today (a scant 11 months after the race - ha!)
There have been questions about whether or not I'm doing the mini in April again this year, and the answer is "no". I've got certifications to take of, working on a book, plus all the other things on my schedule. And, let's be honest. I'm lazy. I haven't even done my taxes yet.

-Tim February 13 13 Feb 07 - 4.2 milesI fell off the wagon for a while (7 weeks to be more precise). But I was surprised that I could manage 6.8K after so much time off. What was NOT surprising was my heart rate. It was WAY up there and that's really where the true measure of health comes in. Anyway, I've got a lot of lost ground to make up, and I need to be careful not to push too hard - don't want any injuries.
